When you need rubber that withstands extreme temperatures specify Hycar acrylic rubber. Seals and other components molded of Hycar acrylic rubber can be boiled in oil at 400°F. They stayflexible,do not deteriorate. At the other extreme, Hycar acrylic rubber stays flexible well below zero Fahrenheit. Hycar acrylic rubbers resist things other than temperature. They stand up to oil, water, oxygen, sulfur-bearing lubricants. Thus, they are used for engine transmission seals, gaskets, O-rings and linings. Several types of Hycar acrylic are available—and can be compounded for special requirements. For information contact B.F.Goodrich Chemical Company, Dept.
