This new WHITEY Valve was designed for reliability under the most severe service conditions! This new WHITEY Ball Tipped Union Bonnet Valve is Teflon packed below the stem threads for trouble-free service. A hardened Ball Stem Tip forms a bearing joint with the stem, which eliminates rotation between the ball and seat at closure. Thus, galling and scoring of the valve seat is prevented which allows repetitive, leak-tight shut-off. WHITEY Ball Tipped Valves are designed for corrosive applications and for shut-off service on non-lubricating fluids such as gases, acids,
solvents and many other chemicals.
