*ASP 170 is produced by Ultraflotation, and has a GE Brightness 90-92% In the search for a really effective exterior paint at reasonable cost, look into ASP 170. In itself, ASP 170 is of extremely high brightness in the blue-white range (see curve lower left). Additionally, because of ASP 170's flat, platelike particle structure and fine particle size (0.55/x average), it gives excellent extension of the Ti0 2 . As ASP 170 has been on the market for only one year, there are, of course, no definitive test fence readings as yet, but many companies are including formulas containing ASP 170 in their current test fence work. One such formula (shown above) has a pound for pound substitution of ASP 170 for anatase Ti0 2 and shows no significant change in contrast ratios.
