Witco i s the problem solver. Take concentrated surfactant blends. We call them Ultra Blends. All you do is cut them with water and they're ready to use (for general-purpose detergents, metal cleaners, liquid dishwashing detergents, etc.). They save time . . . all the hours you presently spend formulating surfactants from several different raw materials. And they save you money . . . all the dollars it's costing you to store those different raw materials in different tanks at different temperatures. Another dollar-saving difference: You don't pay for shipping
water when you use our biodegradable Ultra Blends. With just two of them (Ultra Blend 100 and Ultra Blend 55), you can easily formulate an entire series of liquid detergents. Ultra Blend 100 is a unique 98% active concentrate that combines outstanding versatility with excellent freeze-thaw and handling properties, high power—and low cost. Ultra Blend 55 makes a dishwashing detergent with distinctive foaming, viscosity and stability characteristics. Ultra Blends 24, 25, and 27 are a series of brand new anionic/nonionic surfactant blends with great performance properties. They boil without clouding. Surface tension remains virtually constant (approximately 27 dynes/cm.) throughout a wide
concentration range. Salt, hardness and alkali tolerances are much greater than with straight nonionics. Both wetting and foaming characteristics can be varied over a wide range to match your requirements. There's a good chance Ultra Blends are just the prescription for your surfactantblending headaches. But if you feel that you still want to formulate your own blends, that's OK too. Our Ultra Division can blend them to your exact specs. Better yet, if you need a new or improved product we'll design one for ,r you. Want samples of our Ultra Blends? Ask us. Blending problem?
