GammaTrac 2250 is designed for the physiological researcher using radioactive microspheres in circulatory investigations. It uses a microprocessor-based multichannel analyzer that accumulates the entire spectrum of each sample and stores the data in memory for processing. Accumulated data can be read out either on a channel-by-channel basis within a selected region of interest or as the accumulated gross and net integral within user-selected regions of interest. Tracor Analytic, Inc. 418 GPC/HPLC Flow Meter Thermapulse measures liquid flow rates from 0.1 to 100 cc/min with accuracies up to 0.1 % . Instead of orifices or moving parts this instrument uses a thermal pulse time-of-flight technique that is independent of changes in the properties of the solvent or ambient temperature. experienced instructions in analytical chemistry The American Chemical Society Short Courses program invites proposals to teach courses in analytical chemistry designed for practicing chemical scientists and engineers. The intent of these courses is to present—in live, two-to-five day programs—up-to-date techniques and theory using practical examples. ACS wishes to develop courses on the following subjects: • Analytical Immunochemistry • Analytical Instrumentation in Process Control • Effective Management of Chemical Analysis Laboratories • Petroleum Analysis • Quality Control and Assurance in Chemical Industry • Systems Analysis in the Analytical Laboratory Proposals on other chemical topics are also welcome. Instructor Qualifications • Recognized expertise in the subject area • Demonstrated excellence in teaching the subject or related topics to scientists and/or engineers To request the Short Courses proposal kit, including proposal requirements and financial arrangements, call or write: Ms. Cyrclle K. Gerson, Education Division, American Chemical Society, 1155 1155 Sixteenth Street, N.W., Washington, D.C., 20036, (202) 872-8728

Nenzymes are a group of two nucleic acids, five restriction enzymes, and a ribonuclease inhibitor. They are assayed for endonucleases, exonucleases, phosphatases, and nonspecific proteins. Complete testing data for each lot accompany each shipment. New England Nuclear 421 Supported Reagents A line of reagents that is absorbed on or intercalated in insoluble supports such as alumina, silica gel, molecular sieves, clay, or polymeric ion exchange resins is available. These products are useful in reductions, oxidations, brominations, and nucleophilic substitutions. Alfa Products 422 Unstable-Hemoglobins Screening Kit contains all reagents necessary for detecting unstable hemoglobins by both 2-propanol precipitation and heat denaturation. It includes high- and lowlevel control buffers to aid in identifying 2-propanol precipitation levels. Isolab Inc. 423
