WATER QUALITY YSI makes water quality instruments for wastewater, groundwater and surface water applications. Our new easy-to-use, T-L-C Meter measures temperature, level and conduc tivity in groundwater and surface water. It's lightweight, with instrument, probe and cable in one compact case. For wastewater applications, our new No-Thumbs BOD Probe uses membrane caps that are a snap to use—you just slide the probe into a cap and it's done. No more tedious membrane stretching, no more O-rings. And just one cord for both probe and stirrer.
BIOANALYnCAL The YSI Model 27 Analyzer gives you real-time bioprocessing information on cell cul tures and fermentation nutrients. In one minute, you get quantitative determinations of dextrose, lactate, alcohol, sucrose, starch or lactose. With little or no sample preparation. Measure the oxygen uptake or evolution of samples from 600 μΐ to 50 ml with the versatile YSI 5300 Biological Oxygen Monitor. For temperature calibration in the biological range, use our Gallium Temperature Stan dard. We also offer an array of fixed-point cells and furnaces for realizing temperature calibration points of the International Prac tical Temperature Scale.
