The Award Selection Committee is composed of the six current recipients of the Bristol-Myers Squibb Unrestricted Grants in Synthetic Organic Chemistry. Nominations for the award are provided by the past and current recipients of the Unrestricted Grants. This award, which includes a cash prize, is part of a larger funding program designed to provide significant support for academic research in Synthetic Organic Chemistry, which we consider to be the primary training ground for the chemists who play a pivotal role in the discovery and development of new pharmaceutical agents.
