hrough the Public Out reach program, ACS members across the country are working hard to educate the public on the mer its of chemistry. You can be a part of this exciting program by becoming a Volunteer in Public Outreach. Simply select any (or all!) of the action items and well send you all the necessary materials. It's that easy!
Science-By-Mail is a pen pal/mentor program to get 4th-9th graders thinking about solutions to scientif ic problems, and it takes little time on the part of the advising scientist. (Topics this year are photogra phy, map making and simple machines). Please send information and a registra tion form.
