WonderScience is a won derful way to introduce children to chemistry. Send me a copy to bring to a local elementary school librarian or science teacher.

Fd like to get more facts about some of today's pressing environmental problems. I will pass them on to educators, legisla tors, or media representatives. Please send me free copies of the ACS Information Pamphlets on: • Acid Rain D Global Climate Change • Groundwater • Chemical Risk: Personal Decisions

Proud to be a chemist? You bet! Γ11 gladly wear a button that says so, and tell anyone who asks why.

Count me in for National Chemistry Week, Novem ber 1-7! For information on how I can participate in my area, I'll call the National Chemistry Week office (800/ 227-5558, Option 9) and get the name of my NCW Local Section Coordinator.

T

hrough the Public Out reach program, ACS members across the country are working hard to educate the public on the mer its of chemistry. You can be a part of this exciting program by becoming a Volunteer in Public Outreach. Simply select any (or all!) of the action items and well send you all the necessary materials. It's that easy!

Science-By-Mail is a pen pal/mentor program to get 4th-9th graders thinking about solutions to scientif ic problems, and it takes little time on the part of the advising scientist. (Topics this year are photogra phy, map making and simple machines). Please send information and a registra tion form.
