Chemical Equilibrium Stable: The state of the system does not change spontaneously. Incomplete: The final state of the system includes both reactants and products as identifiable components. Reversible: The same set of final comDonents can he formed from two different sets of initial reagents. Sensitive: Disturbances in concentration, pressure, or temperature may each be accompanied by changes in the state of the system that reduce the magnitude of the initial disturbance in concentration, pressure, or temperature. Chemical: The initial and final states (reactants and products) are connected by a stoichiometric ratio. In a state of chemical equilibrium a system is both stable and sensitive. Laurence E.
