BACK-WASH AND BLOW-OFF
Quick-coupling, nonshort-circuiting filters are featured by Ronninger-Petter Co. Filters are of fine-mesh Monel metal, and effectively remove foreign particles from process water streams. They are easily cleaned by backwash and blowdown. This is easily accomplished by parallel filter operations, so that process fluid may be used for backwash. Steel, aluminum, or bronze filter vary in price from $196 to $988; 376 stainless steel or Monel filters vary from $600 to $7600.
