supervise the preparation, publication, advertising, and distribution of all tests and test-related materials, oversee operation of the Institute, preferably located a t the Director's own school, and analyze and disseminate information on the examinations, student norms, and other activities related to providing useful materials for the chemical education community.
This position is considered a part-time appointment for an active chemistry teacher. Qualifications for the Director are

substantial teaching experience in a discipline of chemistry, either at the eollege/university level or at the high school level; an advanced degree in a discipline of chemistry; a working knowledge of test theory and experience in test construction; and a faculty environment at an institution that is willing and capable of becoming the host institution for the Examinations Institute.
