SOC.,75, 3168 (1953), as a structural reference we inadvertently overlooked the work by K. Alder and W. Roth, Ber., 90, 1830 (1957), establishing the absolute structure of 2,2-dimethyl-3,6-endomethanocyclohexylmethyl ketone. In consequence thereto, the structural assignments of the endo and ex0 isomers of 3-methylaminonorcamphanes in our paper, J . Med. Pharm. Chem., 5 , 665 (1962), are really reversed. The structure “27” is therefore the ezo and “26” is the endo isomer. Our reference to the work of W. Huckel and W. Tappe, Ber., 69, 2769 (1936), in this regard is thereby no longer germane. We, therefore, cannot draw any generalized conclusions on the effect of the exo-endo pairs on activity in bicyclic amines.
