Good news for ethylene consumers Enjay will be first with expanded facilities in the Gulf Coast area in '66

y the end of the year, Enjay's ethylene capacity at Baton Rouge will expand to 800 million pounds. These modern facilities will provide Enjay with even greater flexibility and reliability in supplying ethyleneto its neighbors on the Chemical Strip—that hundred mile stretch of land extending from Baton Rouge, along the Mississippi River, to New Orleans. This latest ethylene expansion at Baton Rouge was taken by Enjay in anticipation of future needs of Enjay and its customers amidst thisboomingcomplex of chemical companies and other industries. Enjay ethylene is readily available by pipeline—on both sides of the Mississippi—and in the form of liquid ethylene in tanktrailers and tankcars.
