tackifiers to the test. a nose. H. B. Fuller Company is finicky about odor in their meat and cheese wrapping adhesives. They can afford to be. They've switched from expensive tackifiers to WINGTACK® resin in the adhesive used to bond films together. WINGTACK costs a lot less. Yet its odor is virtually negligible. Fuller adhesives have to pass an eye test, too. Any colored or cloudy glue line, and they flunk. WINGTACK gives them a water-clear film, because its color is lighter than many costlier resins'. WINGTACK resin also gives Fuller excellent ad hesion, even on hard-to-bond surfaces, polyethyl ene-to-cellophane and polyethylene-to-alumi num. It doesn't give them processing problems. Fuller discovered WINGTACK 95 that WINGTACK Typical Physical Properties goes into solution Color (Gardner— quickly, blends 5 0 % in toluene) 6.0 readily with most Softening Point, Ring and Ball 95°C ± 5° other resins, % Ash Trace EVA, waxes and Acid No
