Partial List of "Properties @f ACRJIWM C A C R A W A X C has an extremely high melting point (280°F.) and when incorporated with other materials raises the melting point: of t h e blends to a marked degree. Added resistance t o cold flow is also imparted. A C R A W A X C and many of its blends have found numerous commercial applications in t h e field of protective coatings, particularly where water repellency and solvent resistance are i m portant factors. A C R A W A X C has excellent cUeiectE'ic properties and good power factor. A C R A W A X C contains no chlorine, and its use eliminates the serious toxicity hazards winch are inherent t o chlorinated compounds. A C R A W A X C, even in small amounts, 'greatly enhances the water and salt spray resistance o f lacquers and varnishes. A C R A W A X C imparts anti-tack a n d anti-block qualities in many plastic and synthertic elastomer applications. It is an excellent m o l d habricant and mold release agent. A C R A W A X C is compatible through h o t melt procedure with a w i d e range of materials, many of which serve to modify it t o g i v e additional valuable characteristics such as greater adhesion. more flexible film, etc., as desired. A C R A W A X C imparts amorphous characteristics t o many of its blends, thus r e m o v i n g u n desirable crystalline effects.
