How many nickels can you save with Natsyn? (How many pounds of natural rubber do you use?) For every pound of NATSYN® you use to replace # 1 RSS in mill processing, you save a nickel. A truckload makes 30,504 nickels—or $1525.20 saved! Why? Because NATSYN polyisoprene rubber costs 50 a pound less to handle and process than natural rubber. For details, see table at right. First, NATSYN comes in unit containers —80-lb. bales that speed up unloading, simplify storage, go right on the mill with no cleaning or guillotining. Second, NATSYN beats natural rubber's processing time — needs no breakdown prior to mixing, bands smoothly, blends readily. Third, NATSYN has a specific gravity of 0.91 to natural rub ber's 0.92, so that 100 parts of NATSYN will take the place of 101.1 parts of natural rubber. A saving of 330 pounds per truckload. And here's a new reason to use NATSYN: Light-colored NATSYN

2200X is now available. Unlike natural rubber, NATSYN 2200X doesn't vary in color from batch to batch.

Start with an evaluation sample of NATSYN. Build up to a plant trial, a production run. You'll soon be rolling η nickels. Goodyear Chemical Data Center, M-16, P.O. Box 9115, Akron, Ohio 44305.
