Stronger bonds. 2013 Priestley Medal recipient, Dr. Peter J. Stang will be signing copies of C&EN at the ACS Spring National Meeting on Tuesday, April 9, 11-12 noon. Dr. Stang is recognized “for his preeminence in chemistry and especially his discovery and use of the directional bonding approach in abiological self-assembly as well as his leadership in enhancing the prestige of the ACS as the Editor of the Journal of the American Chemical Society.” In 2012, he received the National Medal of Science, the highest honor bestowed by the U.S. Government on a scientist or engineer.
