The data for K-HMW PEI and A-HMW PEI were incorrectly presented in Table 1. Table 1 should be as follows. Table 1. GPC Analysis of Ketalized and p-Nitrophenyl Carbamate-Activated PEI polymer

2007, Volume 8 Svetlana Zivanovic,* Jiajie Li, P. Michael Davidson, and Kevin Kit: Physical, Mechanical, and Antibacterial Properties of Chitosan/PEO Blend Films Pages 1505-1510. Due to an unintentional oversight, we failed to recognize the findings of Angelova et al. in the suppression of POE crystallization by chitosan. The last sentence in the second paragraph on page 1507 should read as follows: “Similar to findings of Angelova et al.,2 our results of X-ray diffraction analysis confirmed that 90% or more chitosan inhibits the crystallization of PEO in the cast films, while the clear phase separation happens when chitosan content is 80% or less.” Reference 2 should read: “Angelova, N.; Manolova, N.; Rashkov, I.; Maximova, V.; Bogdanova, S.; Domard, A. J. Bioact. Compat. Polym. 1995, 10, 285–298.” Bogdanova’s and Domard’s names were inadvertently left out. We apologize for the omissions. BM800180K 10.1021/bm800180k Published on Web 02/28/2008
