PEOPLE Semon Honored Dr. Waldo L. Semon, formerly of B. F . Goodrich Co., has been named to receive the 3rd International Synthetic Rubber Gold Medal of the journal, Rubber and Plastics Age. At Goodrich, he was responsible for many important developments including plasticized PVC, Hycar nitrile rubber, and c£s-l,4-polyisoprene. The award will be presented Oct. 14 in London.

OTHER USES. Essentially neutral surface-active agents, these compounds can improve a variety of products and processes. Besides stabilizing foam, AROMOX compounds increase viscosity, and contribute emollient, detergent and antistatic properties.
