Abstract: The dissociation of CSHS'from the molecular ion of ferrocene was induced by a short UV laser pulse and followed by time-resolved photodissociation (TRPD) techniques in the ion cyclotron resonance spectrometer. The dissociation rate was measured for twephoton absorption at 355 nm (7.8 X 104 s-' at 7.24 eV of internal energy), and an upper limit was established for one-photon absorption at 240 nm (
