Resin soluble in alcohol and aqueous ammonia is available from Hercules Powder, Wilmington, Del. The resin, Pentalyn 255, has a high softening point, is friable at room temperature. It can be used in flexographic and glycol soluble inks, overprint lacquers, and as a leveling agent in polymer emulsions. C 10
Adhesive for ceramics, Melbond CA100, from Melpar, Inc., Falls Church, Va., has a maximum service temperature of 2600° F. Melbond has good mechanical strength, won't flake or disintegrate in use, Melpar says. C 11 MARCH
