Microreactor with Needle Valve The microreactor shown in the drawing (1) has been successfully used in kinetics, catalyst selection, and stability studies in a differential thermal analyzer. It has an internal diameter of 0.3 cm, external diameter of 0.5 cm and a height of 2.5 cm, with a volume of approximately 0.2 em&.The reactor is plugged with taps (2) and (3); the needle valve (4) opens or closes the system as needed. Gases or liquids are introduced into the evacuated system through the inlet-outlet tube (5) and pressure can be monitored outside the reactor. The screw (6) is tightened when the reactor is ready for operation. This microreador is esoeciallv suitable for 0.5 cm diameter D.T.A. micro-
