George Lee Dowd, Jr. Oil rom the bottom of the sea is now being pumped into reservoirs from hree under-water oil fields on the California coast. Huge wharves, a uarter of a mile long, reach out into the Pacific to connect with the derricks sed in plumbing the ocean bottom for petroleum.
