When a good, hardworking hydrocarbon surfactant can't wet it-try DuPont ZONYL

A hydrocarbon surfactant on TEFLON ^

Du Pont's ZONYL fluorosurfactants do the job even when conventional hydrocarbon wetting agents don't. ZONYL even wets TEFLON * ZONYL fluorosurfactants work better than hydrocarbon surfactants because they reduce surface tension more, even in concentrations as low as 100 ppm. And they're chemically and thermally stable. You can use ZONYL with strong acids or concentrated alkalies and at temperatures as high as 300°C You can't do that with hydrocarbon surfactants. Today, ZONYL surfactants have a wide variety of uses, including processing steel, paint manufacture and gravure printing inks. Chances are, you can use the unique physical and chemical properties of ZONYL to improve existing products or processes, or to develop new ones. Try some and see. To determine which grade to sample, send for our detailed 16-page brochure. Write, on your company letterhead, to DuPont Company, Room G39401K1, Wilmington, DE19898.
