At room temperature, TCI and ICI are white crystalline sol ids. They're soluble in ether and other organic solvents. Above their minimum freezing points, 41.5°CforICIand81.5°Cfor TCI, they're water-white liquids substantially free of insoluble impurities. Apply for a sample of either TCI (p-phthaloyl chloride) or ICI (m-phthaloyl chloride) to try in your R&D work. Write on your company letterhead to Mr. Edward F.
