The new IWT Puritan Cartridge is the last word in de-ionizing purity. Because of its spongelike porous surface, the resin bead removes 90% of particles 0.1 micron or larger, including colloidal silica. Water that pure, you couldn't live with since it would pick up impurities from anything it touched. That's why you must make it up fresh from an IWT Cartridge System.

The 62nd Annual Meeting of the American Society of Biological Chem ists will take place June 14 to 18, 1971, in San Francisco, Calif. This is the only 1971 meeting scheduled by the so ciety and represents a departure from their usual participation in the April sessions of the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology. This independent meeting of the bio chemists will provide facilities for the scheduling of papers in about 20 sec-

It could extend the life of your submicron filters from 10 to 50 times or more—a real money saver! Such purity is needed for electronics and lab use: 15 megohm water with 90% suspended solids removed!

Eastern Analytical Symposium The 1971 Eastern Analytical Sympo sium will be held Nov. 10 to 12 at the Statler Hilton Hotel, New York City. To broaden the scope of the Sympo sium in the sense of including the latest developments in the fields of analytical chemistry and spectroscopy, the 1971 Symposium will include a maximum of three half-day sessions of submitted pa pers. Each speaker will be allowed 30 minutes for his presentation : 25 min utes for the talk and 5 minutes for ques tions and answers. All those interested in presenting papers should send four copies of a 300-word abstract to A. Z. Conner, Hercules, Inc., Research Cen ter, Wilmington, Del. 19899. Abstracts should be received before May 1, 1971.
